This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The results showed that infrastructure quality significantly influenced student learning interest with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Information technology utilization also significantly influenced student learning interest with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, infrastructure quality and information technology utilization significantly influenced student learning interest with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination indicates that these two variables contribute 59.3% to student learning interest, while the remaining 40.7% is influenced by other variables outside this study. The results of this study indicate that the better the quality of infrastructure and the more optimal the use of information technology, the higher the student interest in Islamic Religious Education (ISE). Therefore, it is hoped that Islamic Religious Education (ISE) schools and teachers will continue to improve the quality of learning facilities and optimize the use of information technology to create a more engaging, interactive, and effective learning process.
2026-07-01T01:28:36+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF CONTEMPORARY ISLAMIC EDUCATION https://www.ijcied.org/index.php/ijcied/article/view/179Collaboration Between Islamic Education Teachers and Parents in Shaping Students' Character Through the MABIT Program2026-07-01T02:14:38+00:00Haryono Idi haryono@uindatokarama.acidAskar AskarAskar@uindatokarama.ac.idHamlan Andi Basohamlan@uindatokarama.ac.id
This study examines the collaboration between Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and parents in shaping students’ moral character through the Malam Bina Iman dan Taqwa (MABIT) program at SD Islam Cahaya Khalifah Palu. Pettalongi sagaf@uindatokarama.ac.idJihan Jihanjihanuindatokarama@gmail.com
This study examines participative leadership by the head of MTs Alkhairaat Sigimpu as an effective approach to addressing bullying through the collective empowerment of school stakeholders in a systematic and integrated manner. A qualitative case study approach was employed. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with the head of the madrasah, teachers, and guidance and counseling teachers, as well as documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that bullying at the school takes both verbal and non-verbal forms. Verbal bullying includes teasing, threats, and rumor spreading among students, while non-verbal bullying involves social exclusion, threatening gestures, and damage to peers’ belongings. In addressing these issues, the head of the madrasah applies participative leadership by involving teachers and counseling staff in collective decision-making. This includes formulating anti-bullying policies, establishing intervention and mediation procedures, and implementing prevention programs through socialization and integrated supervision. Such collaborative involvement fosters a shared sense of responsibility in creating a safe and bullying-free learning environment.
2026-07-01T02:04:24+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF CONTEMPORARY ISLAMIC EDUCATION https://www.ijcied.org/index.php/ijcied/article/view/183Ilman wa Rūhan’ Approach in Al-Qur’an Learning to Develop Qur’anic Personality at Al-Fahmi Integrated Islamic Junior High School, Palu City2026-07-01T02:14:39+00:00Ria Indriani ria@uindatokarama.ac.idKamaruddin KamaruddinKamaruddin@uindatokarama.ac.id
This study examines the implementation of the “ilman wa rūḥan” approach in Qur’anic learning to develop Qur’anic personality among students at SMP IT Al-Fahmi Palu. Using a qualitative case study design, the research explores the integration of intellectual (ilman) and spiritual (rūhan) dimensions in the learning process. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the approach is implemented through structured Qur’anic programs, including tahfidz, muraja’ah, tadabbur, congregational prayers, and character-building activities integrated into daily school culture. The approach contributes positively to the development of students’ Qur’anic personality, reflected in discipline, honesty, responsibility, politeness, and spiritual awareness. Supporting factors include teacher commitment, parental involvement, and an Islamic school environment, while challenges involve differences in students’ abilities and limited learning time. This study highlights that the “ilman wa rūḥan” approach provides a holistic model for Qur’anic education that integrates cognitive, affective, and spiritual development.
2026-07-01T02:10:23+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF CONTEMPORARY ISLAMIC EDUCATION
